Community Action Halfway Home runs a support group for adults who are experiencing obsessive compulsive disorder. The support group has the primary objective of linking shared environment where members can discuss the difficulties that the condition presents along with skills and coping strategies to combat it. The group is professionally led and semi-structured with guest speakers invited from time to time and an emphasis on psychoeducation.
The group meet monthly in the evening.
There is a charge for this service, which means tested for clients not in receipt of SDS funding.
The service can be accessed by completing a referral form and returning it to Halfway.
