At Halfway we believe
that good diet and regular exercise are beneficial to everybody, but can be particularly valuable for people with mental health
problems.
To promote this idea, we arrange a variety of activities
each Thursday, all based around the theme of "Healthy Living". These activities vary from week to week but may include cooking
sessions, swimming, local walks or going to the gym.
Our activities are designed to enable clients to
develop interests and build the skills and confidence needed to access local community-based activities independently.
We aim to provide a safe opportunity to aquire such
skills and enable clients to develop new interests and leisure activities.
